- (NFC), a short-range wireless technology standardized as ECMA-340 and ISO/IEC 18092 that uses the unlicensed RF band at 13.56 MHz to deliver 106 kbit/s, 212 kbit/s or 424 kbit/s at distances of up to 0.2m.
